Hacking Adventure

Gary and I were taking the mares out for a hack when they were ambushed by two hairy loose horses running towards them! A passer by had called the police and we took refuge in our neighbours stable. While Gary was left in charge of the mares, I went with Claire, Libby and some non-horsey residents to try and round them up. 20 minutes later, with the police holding back the traffic, we managed to herd them back into their field where the grateful owner promptly chained up the gate and electrified it! Fifi and Highlight had gotten over their shock and trauma enough to enjoy Claires haylage and all was well again at The Croft.
